Cherokee Federal hires industry veteran Chris Buffoni to drive sustainable growth strategies

TULSA, Okla. – Cherokee Federal, a division of Cherokee Nation Businesses (CNB), today announced the hiring of Chris Buffoni as the company’s new senior vice president of growth and performance.

Buffoni brings nearly three decades of industry-leading experience to the new position where he will be responsible for driving Cherokee Federal’s sustainable growth strategies.

Prior to joining Cherokee Federal, Buffoni served in key senior roles at Leidos and SAIC where he led financial planning, forecasting and shareholder value creation. His cross-functional operating experience in the government services industry also includes strategic mergers and acquisitions.

Buffoni holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Saint Francis University and an MBA from George Washington University.
